AILO™ keeps preference settings intentionally limited to protect authenticity and avoid the “shopping list” problem found in many dating apps. Instead of endless filters, AILO balances your choices with our compatibility science. By answering the assessment honestly and openly, you will increase your chances of seeing more meaningful matches.

Why are some of the matches not “my type”?

AILO encourages you to look beyond surface “types” to discover deeper qualities — like energy, values, lifestyle, and communication. How do I unmatch with someone?
In your Match Lounge, scroll to the bottom of the profile and tap Unmatch. Once you unmatch, that person will no longer appear in your active matches. However, if your compatibility score remains 70% or higher, they may reappear in your Feed after 30 days, giving you the option to reconnect if the timing feels right.
How long does it take to complete the AILO assessment?
The AILO™ assessment takes about 7–10 minutes to complete. It’s important to answer as honestly as you can. We’re not matching you based on any single response. Each answer is distilled and weighed as part of a larger pattern, giving you a meaningful and accurate picture of compatibility.

Your profile is only shown to people with a higher chance of compatibility, not to the general population. AILO’s compatibility criteria take careful measures to filter out risky profiles and prioritize authentic connections.
